Indications for use

Augmentin is indicated for the management of infections caused by susceptible beta-lactamase-producing bacteria (lactobacilli) in the newborn (premature newborn infants) and the elderly (juvenile/ulcerative/osteoporosis).

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
• Hypersensitivity to amoxicillin, cephalosporin, or penicillin.

Adverse reactions

• Gastrointestinal effects: nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and diarrhea.

Pregnancy and lactation

Consent is required for use in pregnancy and in breastfeeding.

The symptoms of bacterial infection include fever, difficulty breathing, pus formation, and pain.

It contains a combination of medicines called, which belong to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It works by preventing the growth of bacteria and helps clear up the infection.

AUGMENTIN DUO 625MG TABLET is not recommended for use if you have liver problems or jaundice upon taking an antibiotic or amoxicillin-clavulanate. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you are suffering from a hepatic impairment, liver disease, renal impairment, kidney disease, glandular fever, or are unable to pass water properly.
